Chokoloskee - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past week we stared out summer time evening trips.
I was fishing David Carr and we were on the tarpon strike of the very last of the out going when the bite started.
I also fished James Breeze,Randy Forrest,Phil Napolitan and Adam Maris( the grandson of Roger Maris).WE were all jumping tapon, snook and a few reds.

The heat will def. bring you to your knees if not rehydrating all the time. The heat index on my coast is in the low 100s,so don't be foolish, always keep drinking alot of water and take breaks threw out the day.
Al in all the fishing has been fairly good ,but not great just yet.

It's a must to keep moving till you strike it right.
Here is a pic of just 1 of our double headers.
A 43"snook and a 30 pound drum.
