Destin - Saltwater Fishing Report
If your fishing ....your catching righ now! plenty of reds, trout, and flounder here in point washington . You will find the trout in 3.5 feet of water .Fish soft plastics like the mirror lure sassy shad with silver flake on an 1/8 jig head. if you are looking for big jacks and reds fish around the drop offs on the flats . Chum with the oversized pogys and get ready.If you are going in the gulf bait is everywhere just sabiki some up and put them out. We are seeing black fin tuna, dolphin,and kings out front.
We have been catching nice grouper in the bay here in choctawhatchee(too bad the red ones arent in the bay).
Red grouper have been plentiful on those flat days along with mingos, white snapper and trigger.
keep an eye out and be ready for the "Brown Man" this month because they will be on the wrecks for the next couple months.
