Estero Bay: Redfish-Snook-Sheepshead

Capt. Joe Angius
November 13, 2014
Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing has been fantastic the past few weeks. Respectable redfish between 23"-27" have been found around small mangrove islands and oyster bars. Free lined shrimp on a 3/0 hook has produced a consistent bite, as well as using CUT white bait. Snook are moving back into the rivers and white bait seems to be getting the bigger ones to eat. Sheepshead are everywhere as well, being caught on crabs and shrimp on oyster bars and bridge pilings.
