Estero Bay: Redfish-Snook-Trout

Capt. Joe Angius
March 18, 2016
Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing in Estero Bay is tough with the current tides we are experiencing, but catching fish is still an option.

Redfish are most active at the beginning of the incoming and outgoing tides. Cut lady fish and pilchards work great but patience is required.

Snook fishing last week was amazing and very tough this week. It's important to have good quality bait and a strong tide. Larger female fish are deep in the backwaters but the smaller males are around oysters.

Trout are on our flats and will eat shrimp under a popping cork.
