Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yesterday I had the opportunity to fish with a new client and we had a blast on the water. The tide was extremely low in the morning and limited where we could fish. Needless to say, we caught fish.
Snook are around islands and deep holes. They are eating white bait primarily, but wont hesitate to eat shrimp.
Trout were caught on Gulps with a 1/8 oz. jighead. One trout was 15" and the other was 23". They were caught in areas with a lot of glass minnows present.
The redfish bite was tough with the weather we had and only one "rat" red was caught. Days prior, when the sun was shining, the redfish were more inclined to eat shrimp and Gulp on a jighead.
Be persistent and confident in the areas that you're fishing. Patience is key when the bite is tough. Always have fun fishing and enjoy the experience of being out in Estero Bay!
