Fishing in the heat

Capt. Greg Stamper
July 1, 2018
Estero Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well its definitely hot now and starting the fishing trips off early is smart. Juvenile tarpon have been moving around from place to place as of late in Estero bay. Being out early certainly helps your chances of catching one before the sun gets to bright. Snook fishing has been good along the beaches, but baits been a bit tough to come buy. Redfishing wasn't great this past two weeks with only a few caught here and there. Pompano are thick and we've seen some big schools of them working the passes and beach lines. Shark fishing has been really good one day, then just OK the next. I've got availability this next two weeks so if you want to get out give me a call. Tight line Capt. Greg Stamper 239-313-1764
