Everglades/Islamorada Fishing Report

Capt. Jason Sullivan
May 16, 2017
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

We are in full swing tarpon season with lots of fish moving in the Everglades and Oceanside of the keys. Just to give you an idea of the schools of fish moving on the Oceanside, photographer Jason Stemple got a great drone shot of a school of about 500 tarpon.

Some of the best fishing of the year in the Everglades is right around the corner. The end of May and June are my favorite times to fish, especially if we get a lot of rain. The snook start moving out to the coast and get ready to spawn and the tarpon start moving north and back into the Everglades in good numbers

I have some open dates during that time frame, so if you want to get out on the water and experience some great fishing, give me a call or email.

All the best,

Capt. Jason Sullivan
