Fishing is Good!

Capt. Jim Hobales
June 30, 2014
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

06 22- 28-14

I have fished Flamingo a couple times in the last week, I have concentrated on fishing mullet mud's. These mud's produced some decent catches of big Trout and Redfish along with big Mangrove Snappers, while in the mud's we have had some big Snook blast our lures and numerous cast at tailing Tarpon. The trips I've been doing are kid related so bending the rods are a must. One big hit with kids is Shark fishing which has been no problem, we have caught Black Tips, Bull and Lemon Sharks up to 150 lbs. The Snook cooperated out on the coast as well eating swim baits and Gulps. The Mosquitos are bad at the ramp and the deer flies while on the water so where your protective clothing. It has been really hot so get out early!
