Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has remained pretty steady for the last few weeks. We have been getting our fronts pretty regularly, which always mixes up the fishing in the Glades. Being able to fish deep in the backcountry and then running out to the flats to catch a tide, has been a key to some of our recent success. More importantly, being able to do that in one day is one of the reasons I love the diversity of the Glades.

The bait along the coast is still extremely thick and there has been everything from tarpon, redfish, snook to sharks and big jacks following these schools of bait. We have thrown flies, tipped jigs, topwater plugs, and cut bait, and all have proved to be what the fish want.

I have some open dates over the next few weeks. This is a great time to fish in some beautiful South Florida weather and also experience some great fishing.
