Flamingo Fishing Report

Capt. Jason Sullivan
February 18, 2015
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Our winter winds that come with the fronts have definitely been in full force. It has been a windy start to the new year with some chilly days to go with it. The fishing on some days has been really good and other days it has been so-so. We have been fishing alot of lee shorelines trying to stay protected from the wind. Usually a cold winter brings a strong tarpon season. So lets hope thats the case this year! The redfish are around on the flats, it's just a matter of the wind laying down a tad to fish them. When we have, the fishing has been pretty good with lots of shots on redfish and blcak drum.

The tarpon fishing at night has been pretty solid. It should only get better as we move into the end of February and March.

Give me a call to get out on the water.
