Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

It has been another really good couple of weeks of fishing in Flamingo. I spent a couple of days fishing the flats outfront with some outstanding tailing redfish action. I participated in he Redghost tournament out of Islamorada, FL and watched my 16 year old angler pick off 9 redfish on fly. It is amazing to see a young angler that good. The winds have been light on most days and the redfishing has been awesome. This is definitely the peak of that fishing.

I have also spent sometime deep in the backcountry. On some trips we have ran as far in the back as you can go. A really cool trip. The snook and tarpon fishing has been awesome! We have gotten over 10 snook on most trips and hooking just as many tarpon up to 30 lbs. Now that we have been getting our fair share of rain, it has really turned on that fishing. We are getting them both on fly and spin.

Give me a call or email to get out on the water!
