Flamingo Fishing Report

Capt. Jason Sullivan
August 24, 2015
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

I had 3 trips last week fishing out of Flamingo on the Florida Bay side. The fishing continues to be really good up on the flats and along the Gulf coast. One of the days we landed 28 redfish up to 32 inches and my anglers tripled up 3 times, which is always fun on a skiff. It was just one of those days when everything we did went right. The next day we fished similar areas and got into a great snook bite. We ended the day with snook, redfish, and tarpon.

The flats outfront continues to give you plenty of shots on tailing and mudding fish. That is always a great option and will definitely test your casting skills.

This pattern should hold for the next few weeks and we should get a good push of tarpon along the coast and in the rivers.

Give me a call to get out on the water!
