Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

It has been a pretty good couple of weeks since my last report. I have been fishing almost everyday out of Flamingo. The fishing remains pretty good most days. We have had some great weather, with some awesome sunrises. This is the time that redfishing picks up along the Gulf Coast and in the backcountry. We have had some pretty incredible sight fishing opportunities on some big redfish and snook laid up on some mudflats. These mudflats will hold these redfish and snook all fall and into our winter.

The baby tarpon fishing has slowed a little as it usually does when the rain stops, but as soon as we get some rain, it will pick right back up. If the weather allows, this is the time of year where any day the big tarpon will show up. Yesterday that happened and we hooked 4 tarpon up to 80 lbs.

Give me a call or email to get out on the water!
All the best,
