Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Flamingo has been pretty consistent lately, and by that I mean consistently good! Lots of reds are still moving around on the bights in huge numbers, and the action has been awsome on the right days! Snook are crushing the pods of bait blasting out of the water horizontaly working over schools of mullet. Top water flies like the gurgler, muddlers, and poppers are getting good results in the early morning hours! Baby tarpon are also still doing there thing and sending them airborne hasnt been too tough! The reds are in just about every situation you can think of, tailing, schooled up, laid up, cruising, on the backs of rays and even following behind sharks. For flyrodders its definetly good times with lots o action!
Allan Abess, one of my best clients got to seal the deal on his last trip out with me getting his first snook (4 in all) and first Redfish on the fly!
In all, good times, great fishing with good people thats what it's all about! Would'nt have it any other way, hope you're all having as much fun as we are, till next time, catch em up..........Capt. Joe!
