Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

The best fishing this week has been out of flamingo and fishing for Snook, the West Coast North up close to Harney River there are plenty of big Snook along the beaches, best bait has been top water early morning and Highwater. Also out front there are a lot of Snook to be found in very Shallowater anyplace that you find mullet muds you will find Snook sitting in potholes waiting to ambush the mullet. we have been throwing spinning rods with Berkely Gulp jerk baits and using 8 weight fly rod with Clouser minnows and special Snook Flies. Also there are plenty of red big redfish to be found next in the schools of snook. the biggest red fish we caught this week was 34 inches taling on Dave Foy Bank. On the last trip we caught five snook the largest 34 inches all caught on the flats and lost maybe seven or eight more we had on the line. There are plenty of Tarpon in the Miami area eating crabs early in the morning.Flats fishing and night and early morning Tarpon will be best.

Flamingo Fishing Forecast:

Flats fishing and night and early morning Tarpon will be best.
