Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

The end of this week has ended with some great weather and good fishing to top it off. We fly fished for snook and reds being successful with both species. Some of the fish we came across were being skittish but with a stealthy approach in the skinny water and the right presentation we were able to capitalize. As spring starts to come through we can start to look forward to some warmer temps. With the warmer temps
in the horizon snook, tarpon, redfish, bonefish and permit are just a few that will be on the feed. Poling stealthy and making a suddle presentation in front of the fish making your bait/artificial look as natural as possible is the key to getting the fish to bite.
Just remember when fish are being spooky adjust to the conditions to make yourself as stealthy as possible and not alerting fish. The weather is looking good, the fish are biting, therefore, its time to go fishing.
