March= Epic

Capt. Armando Alejo
March 22, 2018
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Friends.

March has been epic (coming from a humble place). The creeks feeding the Gulf from both the backwaters and bays off of Flamingo have been great for us. Each have been worked with MirroDine's as well as on the bottom with Gulp Shrimp, both have produced! On a recent trip we found some slot Snook and over slot Drum in the run off's, off of Whitewater bay. The Snook was caught on a soft plastic bait, with 40 lb leader (bounced off the bottom), and the Redfish caught on live Shrimp casted near a mangrove shoreline in a gulf facing creek just out of Whitewater bay...

All in all, March has been great. I have a few open days left:
Tue 3/17 and Sat 3/30

About A-Squared Charters: If you are looking for a world class fishing trip, you’ve come to right place. I have been fortunate to fish the Glades over the past 20+ years, and I can’t think of a better place to seek out such a variety of salt and freshwater fish. Everglades National Park has plentiful opportunities for both the seasoned angler and those seeking their first experience with world class bay or backcountry fishing.
