Merry Christmas!

Capt. Jim Hobales
December 20, 2013
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

121413
I am with my buddy Fred and his son Nick. we had super high water and 25+ winds we toughed it out and had a decent day catching Redfish, Trout and loosing a big Grouper in a tree. We stayed busy throwing lures all day catching a little bit of everything.

The fishing is good when the winds are down and the tides are lower. The big tides we have had the last week or so should be gone after this full moon which makes the fish more accessible. I have plenty of openings right now but the calendar will start to fill up in January. The fishing will stay steady thru the next few month in the back country and the Tarpon season on Miami Beach has already started.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
and catch a fish of your lifetime next year.

Capt. Jimbo,
