Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

102410
I am fishing Flamingo with Neel and Kenny today. We are only doing a half day so I had to get it done quick. I ran thru the back country and hit a bunch of spots, mostly points. The Snook still aren't there like they used to be, if anyone is catching Snook they are keeping the area secret. The Redfish bite is great so we caught 35 of them between 15 and 30 inches. There are Tarpon around free jumping in the Gulf of Mexico eating live pinfish and live small Ladyfish. The Sharks are abundant as usual in the summer as Neel found out loosing a few big Redfish to Bull Sharks. These guys had never Shark fished before and could not believe we could catch 150 lb. Sharks on 12 lb. Biscayne rods.

I will be down next week as I am getting my new Yamaha 250 S.H.O. engine installed. This new technology will make my Pathfinder faster, perform better and get better economy, I cant wait!

The fall mullet run is starting, mullet are stacked up along the coast and the big Jacks, Tarpon, Snook, and Sharks aren't far behind.

If interested in a fun day of fishing give me a call at 305 333 8149.

Flamingo Fishing Forecast:

Fall mullet run on both coast
