Flamingo - Everglades National Park

Capt. Ariel Cabrera
October 10, 2004
Flamingo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Turn your Clocks and Reels

Great fall fishing is ahead with the best red fishing of the year to come during the next month and a half. The outside river mouths of the Everglades will continue to provide the most reliable action as we away the freshwater runoff from the storms, still high in some areas. Flamingo should continue to see great snook action as the last month for serious tarpon. I will be spending three days from Indian Key to Lostman’s during the coming week and will inform of the bite.

Weather should be much cooler and allow for extra hours of fishing since it won’t be dark ‘till 6. Night fishing will also be more tolerable since the bugs won’t be as bad.

Please don’t forget to look at my new website www.captainariel.com as I have added a gallery, testimonials, sponsors page, and more. Plus all full day trips with me offer a No-fish No-pay Guarantee!!!! You can’t go wrong!!!!! There are 2 Biscayne custom rods 6 1/12 ft in near- mint condition available for sale. Please call or e-mail for details.
