Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report
Hey everyone Capt, Vinnie here hope everyone is doin well, the fishing has been on fire lately and I think you should know about it, the weather has been excellent this week flat calm waters and did I mention the fish are biting too!! I will start off with a great fish we caught earlier this week a beautiful wahoo pictured above that we caught while trolling, fishing planers has been very productive for us as of late there has been plenty of action on the reef with bonito, plenty of kingfish as well as blackfin tuna and a wahoo now and again. The mahi mahi bite that I talked about last week has slowed down quite a lot, but we should see more in the next few weeks. The bottom fishing has been very good right now as well with a very nice catch of a snowy grouper which is my favorite to eat as well as some black belly rose fish that we recently caught with some of our younger anglers!
Another type of fishing that has been great is the shark fishing, its not for everyone but if your looking for a good pull or even trying to catch a trophy sized fish this is the time to do it we have been catching some large fish as of lately anything from hammerhead sharks to tiger sharks we catch them all.
The fishing has been spectacular this week and we would love to have you out with us to be apart of some of the action we have some availability this week so don't hesitate and give us a try!! Enjoy the great photos this week of some awesome catches…more later
