The dolphin fishing is picking up this week with a few good days of dolphin fishing. We're getting into some pretty big dolphin out there. The bite is just outside the reef in about 450ft of water. You can catch them trolling or live baiting, but trolling is generally the best way to target them because it allows you to be mobile and cover a lot of ground out there. And while trolling, you could catch wahoo, blackfin tuna, kingfish and more. May is traditionally one of the best months to go fishing in Fort Lauderdale for big bull dolphin. The bite can continue through June, but definitely tapers off by the end of June. Good luck to everyone fishing with us over the next couple weeks. I'll sea ya on the water.
