Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report
Yesterday afternoon the current switched from south to a thankful north current trickling by at 1.5 knots. We had the wonderful Pace family charter us all day and they got exactly what their inner fishing core was bagging for! First we trolled off shore for a while and found some dolphin of which only 6 were keepers while the rest we simply fun to catch. Captain Kunta wowed the Pace family with his fish cooking abilities while still running the boat re-energizing crew and guests before heading back in for something big. Captain Kunta and Mate Jeff set up in sea monster zone and a good 2 hours went by with not a nibble. Captain Kunta always being on top of things said we're heading to the zip code! Mate Jeff set up the baits a combination of live and dead baits and before you know it, it was monster on. It didn't take very long to get the big bull shark close to the boat to snap some pics and release him to fight another day.
, Mate Jeff reset yet again this time live bait was struck by none other then a very hungry barracuda!
All in all it was a funfilled day of fishing with the Pace family. For fishing information or for tips for when you get out there call 954-638-6353.
