Busy Day of fishing fishing fishing fishing off Fort Lauderdale
This morning we started out fishing with Ben and Ryan from New Jersey.
We started out trolling and trolling was good
We ended up with 2 Mahi Mahi 3 bonitos and 4 kings mackerels.
Than we brought in our trolling gear and out went the kites with live baits suspended from them.
It didn't take long till BAM we were Hooked Up.
After a good 15 min back and forth tug a war we got this big silky shark to the boat.

We set out fishing with Jeff, Logan, Blake and Cameron all from St Louis.
We also set out the trolling gear and yep trolling was good here as well. We ended up with a couple of king mackerels and a couple nice Mahi Mahi as well.

As we got back to the dock for our afternoon trip we had josh and his wife Jennifer from Alabama eager to give their luck a shot at some deep sea fishing off the coast of Fort Lauderdale aboard the Hooked Up 3.
This time we went right to kite fishing with our live baits suspended from the kite and we also fished a bottom bait in search of some good eating bottom fish.
This time it was the bottom baits that paid off with a few mutton snapper and a big surprise when we caught a king mackerel in 220 feet of water on the bottom rig.
