If you're looking for deep sea fishing Fort Lauderdale, this past week delivered exactly what South Florida is famous for. Calm seas, excellent weather, and steady fishing combined to create five outstanding charters with a wide variety of species. From fast-paced trolling action to exciting wreck fishing, bottom fishing, and battling sharks, our guests experienced some incredible fishing Fort Lauderdale has to offer.

Jeremiah & Family – 6-Hour Morning Trolling Trip
Our first trip welcomed Jeremiah and his father from Tennessee aboard for a 6-hour morning deep sea fishing Fort Lauderdale charter. With calm seas and beautiful weather, the trolling bite was absolutely on fire. Fishing a spread of two deep planner lines along with four artificial surface lines, we experienced one of those unforgettable mornings where the rods seemed to stay bent all trip long. The fish were aggressively feeding, and we had multiple double and even triple hookups that kept everyone busy from start to finish. By the end of the charter we had caught an incredible 7 Blackfin Tuna, 3 King Mackerel, and an unbelievable 24 Bonita. The action never slowed down and gave these anglers a true taste of the non-stop excitement that makes fishing Fort Lauderdale so popular.

Jeff & Family – Wreck, Reef & Shark Combo Trip
Jeff and his family from Illinois joined us for a 5-hour morning deep sea fishing Fort Lauderdale charter where we mixed several different techniques throughout the day. We started by bottom fishing around a sunken shipwreck using fresh cut bait and were rewarded with several Lesser Amberjacks and Almaco Jacks that put up strong, steady fights in the current. After working the wreck thoroughly and making a few productive drifts, we headed to the reef where trolling produced a nice catch of Bonita, keeping rods bending and smiles all around. To finish the trip, we deployed a spread of shark baits and were rewarded with a powerful Sandbar Shark that gave the family an exciting, drag-screaming battle and a perfect ending to a fun day on the water.

Uriel & Group – Wreck Fishing & Reef Trolling Action
Uriel and his group from Texas booked a 6-hour Fort Lauderdale fishing charter during another beautiful day with calm seas and light winds. We began the morning wreck fishing with live bait over a sunken shipwreck, and the action started immediately when an Almaco Jack crushed the bait and battled hard in deep water. The fight intensified when a large shark suddenly appeared and grabbed its tail, creating an unforgettable moment and a chaotic but exciting battle for everyone onboard. After another productive drift produced a strong Amberjack, we switched over to reef trolling where the rods stayed busy with 4 Bonita and 3 King Mackerel hitting the spread in quick succession. The steady action and variety of species made for a well-rounded and highly successful day of deep sea fishing Fort Lauderdale.

Peter & Son – Offshore Tuna & Snapper Trip
Peter and his son traveled from Texas for a memorable fishing Fort Lauderdale adventure. We started the morning trolling the reef where we quickly hooked a beautiful Cero Mackerel, setting the tone for an active day offshore. As we pushed farther out into 400 feet of water, I noticed birds actively working bait on the surface, signaling feeding fish below. After making several passes beneath the birds and adjusting our trolling pattern, we hooked into a pair of hard-fighting Blackfin Tuna that made long, powerful runs and kept the anglers fully engaged. Before heading home, we spent some time bottom fishing in a deeper structure and added a quality Mutton Snapper to the day's catch, rounding out a great variety of South Florida gamefish and a classic deep sea fishing Fort Lauderdale experience.

Dylan – Afternoon Shark & Bottom Fishing Trip
Dylan from Wisconsin joined us for an afternoon 5-hour deep sea fishing Fort Lauderdale charter with excellent weather and calm conditions. We began the trip bottom fishing over a productive structure where Yellowtail Snapper and Amberjacks kept the action steady and rods bending throughout the drift. The consistent bites gave Dylan plenty of opportunities to stay engaged and fine-tune his technique. Later in the afternoon, we switched over to shark fishing and didn't have to wait long before hooking into a powerful Sandbar Shark. After an exciting, drag-pulling battle, we carefully brought the shark alongside the boat, safely removed the hook, and watched it swim away strong, ending the trip on a memorable high note.
