This morning the drift fishing boat headed offshore Fort Lauderdale with 11 people for a 4 hour drift fishing trip. The bite was not instant but within the first hour the fish started pouring in the boat. The King Mackerel fish biting nicely along with the Bonito fish, Trigger fish, a few Grunts and some Grouper fish. The Fort Lauderdale drift fishing bite is starting to pick up!

Don't get left at the dock, call today to schedule a fishing trip aboard the Lady Pamela III.

July 2nd, 2010

Tonight we had our Friday night four hour drift fishing trip in Fort Lauderdale. We anchored in 65 ft just south of the pier before the rippin current caused us to move. We ran and to 35 ft of water just north of the pier and it didn't take long before the fish were coming in the Lady Pamela III. Fresh Bonito and Squid bait were attracting the Mangrove Snappers in phenomenal numbers. We headed back to the dock with a total catch of 30 Mangrove Snappers, 2 Mutton Snappers and 4 Yellow Tail Snappers.

Sport Fishing Report – Fort Lauderdale, Florida

July 6th, 2010

This afternoon, the Lady Pamela II left the dock for a 1 PM start. For the first two hours of fishing, we trolled around offshore looking for some fish. The customers got sea sick so we headed inshore but didn't want to cut them short of fishing. On our way in, we tried a spot that locals refer to as the ledge. We dropped two big bluerunner baits down and it didn't take long to attract a visitor. A big Bull Shark rolled on our bait and Mike set the hook to get him on there. We fought the Bull Shark for 30 minutes and cured all sea sickness!
