Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

KPMG has a local branch in Ft. Lauderdale and going fishing was their way of celebrating meeting a deadline. They gathered up the crew and out we went in search of whatever we could find. Just looking for a little fishing fun and lately trolling has been the big producer.
Things have been on the slow side lately. Heavy rains have made the water muddy looking and this water sits on top of the salt water making bites from the top baits few and far between. But the deep lines have been working well with some Kingfish, Bonitos and a few Tuna.
Most Tuna caught trolling are small, the larger fish preferring live bait. But we managed a nice one around 16lbs. to round out our day on the water.

A few beers, some office chit chat and some fish made for a great day today for the folks from KPMG.
We hope to see them again next quarter fishing in Ft. Lauderdale with their corporate group.
