Fort Lauderdale Fishing in March can be Red Hot

Capt. Mario Cote
March 24, 2014
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing off Fort Lauderdale in March can be red hot if you have current, nice water and some wind to go with it!

When needed, we try to cover as much territory as possible. On recent trips, we've caught kingfish and some nice jack crevalle in the inside. Lately, the pattern has been no wind in the morning, but on our afternoon trips, the wind usually picks up and we've been able to fly the kite. The kite has produced some nice mahi on live goggle eyes in 500' of water.
