Fishing with the Flyers
Oct 14, 2009
The Marlin My Darlin is proud to be of service to some of the event planners in the Fort Lauderdale area. Today's group was the Philadelphia Flyers on a 5 boat tournament charter with the Marlin My Darlin as the tournament coordinator and carrying the coaches for the team who turned out to be a blast to fish. Prizes for the most and the biggest to be awarded and we were ready to compete.
Some slow fishing made things tough… Just one Dolphin was caught between the 5 boats, a few smaller Tuna and some Kingfish, with the crew of the Marlin My Darlin bringing in the most. We fished hard and with one of the big Kings, were hoping our guests aboard would reap the bounty.
Total was taken by another boat as small, miniscule, immature and virtually invisible (due to their underdeveloped/looks like a fish, only smaller) bullet Bonitos were used in total and we lost that division, but the BIGGEST fish award was rewarded to our on-board guests. Lots of fun…
All seemed to enjoy the trips and a fun day was had by both guests and crew even though the fishing was slow.
