Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

This week on the YB Normal out of Fort Lauderdale florida we have been catching a variety of great gamefish, some of the best action has been in the mornings where we have been catching a variety of kingfish, nice sized tunas, as well as wahoo and dolphin, we have been starting our day off with trolling around the reef which is about 1 mile from the coast of Fort Lauderdale, trolling planners with seawitches has been the best way to get bites from multiple types of gamefish, early mornings have been very good for kingfish and we have been geeting our limit most days within 1 hour or so, after that we have been heading offshore looking for tuna dolphin and wahoo, most of our mahi we have been catching have been on seaweed lines and floating debris they have been good sized anywhere between 5-15lbs, the blackfin tuna bite has been awsome on days with low light using live bait, there has also been a few wahoo mixed in with the offshore species this week we have caught a few and lost a few but man what a tasty and beautiful fish, overall this is a great time of year to get out there and do some deep sea fishing in Fort Lauderdale Florida…
