Fort Lauderdale Fishing on Happy Day Today with Capt. Zsak

Ken Duncan with wife and friends from Illinois chartered the Happy Day Today along with the Topshotfishing team to do some deep sea sport fishing off of Fort Lauderdale FL.

As I welcomed Ken aboard the Happy Day Today, I asked him what he was looking to catch. Ken replied that he is a hunter, has many trophies of his adventures from around the world and would like to add a Shark to his accomplishments. Off I went to an area known for producing Sharks. We put out one surface Shark bait, one down deep Shark bait and two kites with two live Goggles Eyes from each kite. As Ken shared his adventures from hunting around the world, the bottom Shark rod bent over and immediately screamed line off. Jackson, our mate cleared all the other fishing lines so that we could concentrate on the one sea monster hooked. Ken was strapped into the fighting chair and listened intensely to the directions given to him. Thirty-five minutes later, a Golden Hammerhead appeared. This 107 inch Golden Hammerhead Shark became another accomplishment on Ken's belt. After measurements and pictures were taken for a replica mount, the Shark was released to do battle another day.

With a couple of hours still left in our charter, I suggested we do some trolling to find some fish for dinner. I noticed a weed line forming so I trolled paralele to it and found a board floating on it. With each pass going by the floating board, produced a Mahi Mahi.

With six Mahi Mahi's and a Shark flag flying, it was time to head back to the dock. This ends another successful and adventurous deep sea fishing charter in Fort Lauderdale FL with the Happy Day Today, the Topshotfishing Team and Captain Zsak - 954-309-7457 – www.topshotfishing.com
