Ft Lauderdale Deep Sea Fishing

Capt. John Logan
April 15, 2013
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

April has historically been a good month for Ft. Lauderdale Deep Sea Fishing. We look forward to going offshore as many species are in our area and often in good numbers. Some really good sized Kings on the reefs. Blackfin Tuna and Little Tunny. Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish and large Sharks.
Pictured is Warren who hails out of Mass. and gets down here often for business with a nice Sailfish that was caught (and then released) on a Shimano TLD 25.

Also caught on this trip were Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Kingfish and Tuna. A large Hammerhead rounded out the catch. We had the Hammerhead Shark and the Sailfish on at the same time. April fishing. Mixed bag of species available. All fish were caught within two miles of shore today.

Target Species:

Sailfish, Shark, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, Marlin, Swordfish and more...
