Ft. Lauderdale Fishing/ Kingfish Fishing

Capt. John Logan
August 30, 2010
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Our group today came from the other side of the Atlantic to try fishing in Ft. Lauderdale. Ian, Neil and the boys left the Mom's behind at the dock as we headed out in hopes of some action.
We had to work a bit to produce the bites, the current running at almost 3 knots or 4 mph, which ever you prefer. Many times when the current roars like that it's in the turns you make that the bites come, the lines being at their least amount of tension. Missing some, catching some, it's all part of fishing and right now, Fort Lauderdale is going off in the deep blue sea!

Good luck on your cruise guys.
