Great Catch on our Large Group Private Fishing Charter

Great catch on our boat the Mary B III. The action is great on the reefs with lots of bonitos and kingfish biting. When we caught our fill of those, the group wanted to go offshore to try for mahi-mahi. We went out to 600ft of water and started trolling. It took us about an hour before we found our first fish but when we did, there was a whole school of dolphin there. We caught a nice bunch of them before they got too shy and swam off. With a nice box of fish already caught, we decided to troll our way back in on the reef and do some bottom fishing. We hit a blackfin tuna on the way back in to the reef. We anchored the boat and started chumming. The yellowtails came right up for us and we started bailing them like mad. We did that for about an hour and then it was time to head back in. You can only do so much on a half day fishing charter. We got back and spent over an hour cleaning fish for the customers. They had a feast of fish on this trip. We are having some good fishing trips in Fort Lauderdale this month. The summer months are known for action and this month is no different. If you want to fish Fort Lauderdale when the fishing is good, this month gives you the best chances at coming in with an awesome catch of fish. Good luck to everyone fishing over the next month. I'll sea ya on the water.
