Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had an early start this morning with a wonderful couple from up state New York. We stopped on the way out and got some live bait so we could go straight to bumping live bait around to catch fish. It didn't take long before our first bite. Wow! It was a nice 18 pound Kingfish! Next, we caught another 16 - 18 pound Kingfish. We moved from that spot and and hit a wreck we like to drop on and it proved to still be good allowing the misses to have a nice fight with a forever fighting Amberjack!

We continued to drop on the same wreck and we hit pay dirt again, except this time we were dealing with some large monster that ended up taking almost an hour

to come to the top and to our surprise we landed a 45 pound black grouper!

We took these pics and released it to fight another day. We reverted back to bumping live bait and we landed another nice 12 pound kingfish and headed back in. For fishing information or for tips for when you get out there call 954-638-6353
