Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Lots of big fish are biting on our Fort Lauderdale fishing trips. We're catching some big sharks out there. Lots of dusky sharks, nurse sharks, bull sharks and a few hammerhead sharks are biting. On average, the sharks we are catching are 6-10 feet in length. We're catching these big game sharks around the wrecks and along the 100-200ft dropoff along the Ft Lauderdale coastline. Sailfish and sharks are the main big game fish we catch this time of year and although sailfishing has been kind of slow so far this year, the shark fishing has been outstanding. Deep dropping big baits around the wrecks has been the best action, and we've been lucky enough to catch some big groupers at the same time. We have a little less than 2 months before groupers go out of season, so you have to catch them while you can. Fishing the Fort Lauderdale wrecks gives you the best chances at some big game fish. Tight lines everyone,
