Hold the Turkey, prefer Mahi-Mahi please

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

First let me clarify that I'll stick with the traditional turkey. That is actually what my wife says, and I have made the prudent decision to follow suit with her thinking. But we have had some good Mahi-Mahi catches and there are those who will indeed be having the same conversation with their other half, as it has been mentioned in conversation with our anglers. Some good Mahi-Mahi catches as I mentioned and a few Sails and other species (like that nice Grouper pictured), but catches have varied and nothing is written in stone as all fishermen are aware. But the fishing has been decent for the most part, so we'll call it aware, not painfully aware. Best fishing continues within two miles offshore. Weatherman threw us a bit of a curve as the chop is more than forecast, but it is certainly very fishable. Tight lines and we'll see you on the rip. Happy Thanksgiving to all. I like the white meat, wife likes the dark, Still a good match after 25 years, fish dinner on Friday.
