Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello everyone Capt. Vinnie here, we have a good report this week with some awesome catches from some our our young anglers, first lets start off with Nick who came out on the YB Normal for his first deep sea fishing charter, he caught his first fish in saltwater which was a wonderful full size wahoo!! One of my favorites because of table fair and because of the colors of this wonderful fish, Nick also caught his first mahi mahi or dolphin fish, he was very excited about that and was looking forward to eating it for dinner that night as well. On the YB Normal out of Fort Lauderdale we encourage parents to bring out there kids fishing is a great way to get them out of the house and be active…Nick will will remember this trip forever and im sure he can't wait to get out fishing again! We also have another great photo of a trophy sized barracuda that we recently caught by one of our female anglers Kelsey, she recently chartered the YB Normal in search of something big and she got it!! Barracuda may not be the best eating fish that there is but they are a great gamefish they make fast runs as well as jump and they have some of the biggest teeth you will find on a fish. Last but not least we have a great photo of a recent snapper fishing trip we did and the bite was on most of the catch was yellowtail snapper and mangrove snapper all very good eating. The snapper fishing should continue to stay very good through the summer months.
Fishing has been very good for us the last week and hopefully it continues we should see more mahi mahi start to show up as well which is exciting as well as a few tuna and more wahoo!
If your looking to get out fishing we have some availably coming up so don't hesitate to call us we would love to have you!!

more later…
