Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

This morning we had the Holm family from Denmark charter us in the morning. The trip started off rainy with heavy overcast with a trickle of north current with a light east wind switching to south every so often. We trolled the whole trip and caught a bunch of bonitos over and over again. Literally, as soon as the planer baits hit the water the bonitos would pounce! Everyone had ablast constantly reeling in all the bonitos.
In the afternoon we had the Brantley family from Melbourne, Australia. Dad has fished all over the whole and has caught just about everything out there but wanted his kids to get the action. We trolled again. Thisvtime out it had st finalky cleared up and was back to beautiful Florida sunny skies. We caught a bunch of Bonitos and 3 kingfish.

All the kids were happy campers wearing big smiles allowing dad to recieve exactly what he set out for.
In the evening we had the Wood family charter us and the waters calmed down almost to a dead stop with just a trickle of north current with very little south wind. We caught several bonitos, a blackfin tuna

and then we dropped on a few wrecks finally getting a few bites but unable to keep the sea monster on! I guess thats why they call it fishing and not catching. For fishing information or for tipsbwhen you get out there call 954-638-6353.
