Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yesterday morning we experienced waves of 1 - 3 along with a 3 knot current with a east wind and we had a regular of ours named Vinnie with his buddies. They just wanted to troll around and catch eating fish for their get togetherin the afternoon. We caught Vinnie and friends 2 kings, 9 Spanish Macs and a nice blackfin tuna.
In the afternoon we had Ray and his family from Boyton Beach fish with us. For the first half of the trip it was barracuda rules. We caught 4 barracudas in a row. The kids had phone fighting the cudas. Then as we were trolling back in mate Jeff got the attention of a nice Tuna leting the top bait line out and reeling it back in agsin andvagain and just before the Tuna was going to hit the surface trolling bait a sky rocketing Sailfish came out from under and stole the bait from the tunas sights giving Ray exactly what his inner fishing core's benn begging for!

Catch and release! For fishing information or for tips for when you go out there call 954-638-6353.
