Mahi Mahi Fishing off fort lauderdale florida

Capt. David Ide

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

March 9, 2015

It is all about the mahi-mahi this week as the Lady Pamela II has been landing multiple gaffer fish in the 20-25 lb range. These fish have been in pretty close too, between 200 and 300 feet of water. The biggest fish so far has been a 45 lb bull mahi that put on a great aerial display for our anglers. We also caught, tagged, and released an estimated 300 lb greater hammerhead in 350 feet of water off Ft. Lauderdale. Why sit on the beach all Spring Break and watch us having fun offshore? Give us a call and let's set you and your friends up with some exciting fishing action!
