Fort Lauderdale Fishing on Happy Day Today with Capt. Zsak

Mr. Foster and Mr. Kerv from Lubbock, Texas, and their families were in Fort Lauderdale FL with their baseball team, the Red Lions, enjoying Disneyworld and a sport fishing deep sea charter aboard the Happy Day Today along with the Topshotfishing team located in Fort Lauderdale FL.

With two dads and four boys, we left the dock and twenty minutes later we had fishing lines in the water north of Fort Lauderdale FL. We had two plainers down, one with a 3 ½ blue reflector drone spoon, which is one of the most productive methods to catch fish, and one with a double hook Bonito strip with a black and purple sea witch in front, and 5 surface baits – two Ballyhoos, two Bonito strips and one jap feather. The enthusiasm was high as the young anglers sat in the fishing chairs, talking about their baseball team. Eleven year old Zak Foster was our first angler. The right long rigger came down, which was attached to a Mahi Mahi jumping out of the water. As the rest of the anglers cheered him on, the left long rigger came down and 11 year old Carson Kerv was now at the end of another hooked Mahi Mahi. The volume of their voices was so loud that they drowned out the sound of the engines. Both boys brought in their Mahi Mahi's, and the smile on their faces said it all. From there, we added some Kingfish and Bonito's to the fish box.

With good action and happy young anglers aboard the Happy Day Today, we headed back to the dock in Fort Lauderdale FL. For a successful and adventurous deep sea fishing charter in South Florida for Sailfish, Shark, Bonito, Mackerel, Swordfish, Snapper, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Grouper contact Captain Zsak. - 954-309-7457 or email us at [email protected] Website: www.topshotfishing.com.
