Marlin My Darlin fishing charters in Ft.Lauderdale Feb.

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Deep into our winter now but one would not know it as many daytime high records have been rewritten despite the awful series of storms in the northern states. 83 the high today, yesterday another record fell as we topped out @ 85. Slightly cooler this weekend with forecast highs of 78/79 degrees, and with that a chance for rain, which we actually need, and some wind. So everything associated with a frontal system except a significant temperature change. And that is something we would like to see as fishing charters in Ft. Lauderdale continues to fall back on erratic. A couple of good catches and then a struggle. The forecasted NE breeze en route to us should add up to better fishing but some cooler weather this time of year is welcomed with those frontal systems. The last front (as the approaching one) was wind and little cooling did kick it up a notch with Mahi-Mahi and Sailfish action, so we are ready and will think along those lines, despite shorts, sandals, and shirtsleeves. So some Sailfish pics, Wahoo pics, Tunas, Jacks and big Cuda photos of recent anglers and their fish, but the fishing has been erratic as I stated. Some good fish around but not every day. You never know if you don't go. We are, fun in the sun. Here's hoping for more stable fishing as we move into February.
