Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

This year the mullet have shown a little early which has worked out well since the opening of snook season and their arrival had perfect timing . The canals in South Florida are slowing filling with bait and so are the fish tarpon ,snook,Redfish, trout ,snapper, they are all getting in on the action. The fishing has been better in afternoon hours in Broward and Mornings Better in the Indian River. Had some good mornings fishing artificials in Vero Beach this week with Redfish and trout the staple and a few snook mixed in .Did manage a 7.5 pound Seatrout on a topwater good fish .
