Nice Fish Biting on the $45 Drift Fishing Trips

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Snappers are biting good on the Fort Lauderdale reef this week. The yellowtails, mangrove and mutton snappers are chewing. We're catching them on chunk bait in 50-100ft of water, right smack dab on the bottom. Squid and sardines are working the best for bait but they seem to be biting anything you put down there. On the day trips, we usually drift, which allows us to cover some territory drifting around. The night trip is an anchor trip where we anchor the vessel and chum. This is very effective for all the snapper species and it's much cooler at night. Although we don't get the same experience as the day with all the coastal views, the night trip is my favorite because we usually get the best action on the night trips. Grouper season just opened as well, so finally if you catch a grouper, you can keep it. If you'd like to come out on any of our $45 per person drift fishing trip or join us for a night anchor trip, please call me anytime at 754-214-7863. We'd love to have you out fishing with us. Sea you then,
