Nice Swordfish Caught on Fort Lauderdale Swordfishing Trip

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Summer is a great month for daytime swordfishing. The ocean is almost always calm, which makes daytime swordfishing very enjoyable. And the fish are out there. This month we have had a tremendous bite during the daytime. We only fish when we have a charter, but some of my buddies who daytime swordfish commercially are telling me it's almost a guarantee lately to get a bite on one if not one in the boat. A few days lately we've heard reports of multiple 200+ plus fish caught on the same trip. This is the best possible case scenario of course. They don't bite that good every day. But this is one of the all-around best months of the year to go daytime swordfish fishing.

Night swordfishing is decent this month too. We have a night swordfishing charter tomorrow night, so we'll see how we do. This is a great time of year for swordfish fishing in Fort Lauderdale so if you have the desire to catch one of the most awesome gamefish on the planet, give us a call. I'll sea ya on the water.
