Fishing Report for Ft. Lauderdale & Port Everglades

Capt. Cary Hanna
December 26, 2006
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Nice bite when we can get out

The weather has been playing a factor on our fishing trips for quite a while now. More than half the time seas are not fishable. Fortunately the weather changes daily so you can always call me to get the latest weather update to not miss out on a chance to catch some great fish. On the days we are getting out the Sailfish are here and some days when the wind comes from the north we can get numerous shots at them.

Dolphin are also making a show on the edge, they are always great to catch. Kingfish are the most consistent feeders right now and we should be catching fish over 40 pounds soon.

It's the best time of year to go Swordfishing. That is of course, if we can get out there. Were looking for that 500 lb marker and we need some sponsors please.

I will be on vacation from 12/29 through 1-5-07
