Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Saltwater Fishing Report

Capt. Andy Roydhouse
October 3, 2002
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fall bait run has begun. Mullet are in the canals and the predators are set up to greet them. Jack Crevalles and Barracuda ae eating well. Tarpon are jumping on once in a while too. The fish are prefferng the live bait over the usual scraps that work effectivly. This should build to a peak in the next few weeks. As soon as we get a few true cool breezes from the north the action should heat up.

Offshore the bite is on too. Sailfish, Dolphin and Kingfish is the word. Not an unlimited amount but a good shot at all.
