Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Saltwater Fishing Report

Capt. Andy Roydhouse
December 9, 2006
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather was perfect for fishing on Thursday. The bite was good too. We landed a decent size King, some Cero Mackerel and and an Atlantic Shark. We had Dolphin swim up to the boat but got away with the goods (bait). A few more reels went off screaming but the fish stayed ahead on the score. The Sails bit real good the day before but seemed to be missing on Thursday. We are getting ready for a cold front to pass through this weekend. Not a northern version, just the 60's or so. This will help to get more bait and gamefish into our waters. This should turn the switch ON again for the upcoming week.

Sea Ya,

Captain Ron Mallet
