Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sails & Dolphin

The Sails turned on so good last week that this is the first chance I've had to update this report. One boat caught 15 sails in one day last week. We were averaging 2 to 4 shots at the sails a day. One fish we caught was 80 lbs.

Along with the sails were some decent dolphin. We did manage one nice wahoo of 35lbs. One of the other charter boats caught a 75 lb. yellowfin tuna.

The wrecks are still producing amberjacks and Black groupers.

We did catch a few Black Tip Sharks this week too. They were caught while live baitiing for the sails.

Catch-em-up,

Capt. Kunta
